Question about DA Fani Willis' purchasing activities ...
(Allen, 53 - Alpharetta)

@MusicSuiteC If #FaniWillis is getting a 'kickback' from Steven Ewing (Director of Operations at #WadeFord) - it explains why she wanted $600,000 for more Ford vehicles, despite having 20+ vehicles she hasn't assigned yet. The 'cash' she keeps in her home might come from these kickbacks.
🧵It might be a 'coincidence' that Fani Willis didn't investigate Mr. Watkins' criminal complaint against #SouthernCompany (which impacts Georgia Power)
-- at the same time Steven Ewing was elected to Georgia Power's board of directors.

🧵I think it's safe to assume that Fani Willis is getting some type of 'financial incentive-payback' from Wade Ford - because she requests money to purchase vehicles from them she doesn't need.

🧵Commissioner Bob Ellis, the chair of the county audit committee, added that the board should not consider Willis’s requisition request until she complies with his letter demanding information on her office’s transactions with Wade.

🧵"I’ve got a list of all the vehicles in her pool. It looks like a lot of them have been unassigned. She has over 20 that are unassigned here. I don’t know why she would need more vehicles if she’s not using the vehicles she has."

🧵Fulton County DA Fani Willis secured over $600,000 in taxpayer funds to buy her staff brand new cars even though lawmakers don’t know what she plans to use them for.

🧵"Last year there was a significant budgetary add that was provided for her [#FaniWillis] last year that was approved by four commissioners last year which gave her a lot more vehicles at that point in time. So really, the question is, why? Why more now?", Ellis said.

🧵Commissioner Bob Ellis was also mystified over #FaniWillis’s request to purchase a new fleet of vehicles, noting that this isn’t the first time she has sought to expand her office’s automobile fleet. Willis’s office doled out nearly $794,000 to two car dealers in 2023

🧵Willis sought to purchase several 2023 Ford SUVs, as well as two 2023 model pursuit vehicles, from a Ford dealer in the Atlanta metropolitan area, according to a document reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon.

🧵"In light of all the recent allegations of her department, I don’t want to approve any money until those allegations have been addressed," Thorne added. "She’s been asked to comment on them. She has not.

🧵#FaniWillis requested $611,000 from the #FultonCounty Board of Commissioners to purchase up to 16 service vehicles. The board voted overwhelmingly to table the request after several commissioners noted she provided no justification for the proposed purchase order.
