Q2: Competition based games like #Kahoot have been a blast for in person and online. Students enjoy the challenge of playing each other and hardly notice they’re reviewing material. So easy to move to an online format too. #WCSEdChat
Q3: Breakout Rooms! I love that we can create separate rooms in Google Meets for leveled instruction. Just like we do in person, these rooms allow us to meet students where they’re at. #WCSEdChat

@MrsKDunnagan That has been a huge "pandemic take-away" for me. Students need to remain connected to their classroom when they are not in school. Our virtual resources have helped make this possible. #WCSEdChat
@mrbbettis @brosenbalm @nearpod I like the interaction. In a traditional classroom, kids can write with pencil and paper while a T walks around looking. These platforms allow me to see Ss work in real time.

Participating in #WCSEdChat: A3, due to the fact that not all kids had great internet connections—-a few neighborhoods couldn’t get a better signal even with our hotspots—-I am not sure I felt it was equitable. But we replicated many of the same classroom experiences digitally.
Participating in the #WCSEdChat: A2 Writing conferences are ALWAYS a good idea. In person, I make comments using docs and then conference during FLEX. Remotely, we used breakout rooms where students came in for their conference.
