50 years ago today, on Friday, May 14, 1971, the G. Heileman Brewing Co. announced that the Kingsbury brewery in Sheboygan would be closed. However, production didn't end until almost 3 years later, on April 11, 1974. The brewery closed for good on April 30, 1974. #wihistory
