I started my education journey in this basic rural school, and I believe I have turned out fine.
Like I advise in my book #WORKandPROSPER, you don't have to take your child to the most "sophisticated" and expensive school and drain your working capital.
An "ordinary" school can produce impactful citizens, provided the child is effectively inducted in life values and skills. CPM

Monday Quote from my book #WorkAndProsper
Choose a Simple Name for your Business: a name is very important for a business as it is its first marketing tool. It should be easy for clients to pronounce and to remember.
I see many business names which I find hard to pronounce, or to remember. A simple and easy name can be memorised, especially when it's related to the nature of the business. I once had a popular restaurant we named "EKITOOBERO"; that word, in its ordinary sense, means "mixed grill," which implies food.

Happy New Year 2026!
I'm sharing this paragraph from my book #WorkAndProsper as we begin this year.
Consider realistic ideas: We need to come up with simple and workable ideas, no matter how sophisticated or knowledgeable we may be. Simple ideas can eventually balloon into gigantic enterprises.
It's wiser to take one step at a time, as one embarks on the prosperity journey. Whoever tries to come up with complex and big ideas in the initial stages usually ends up in disappointment, or even disaster.
Experience is always the best teacher; so as one pushes on with oneโs initiative, one learns the craft and eventually turns oneself into its guru. CPM
It's #WorldAIDSDay2025: I will quote this from my book #WorkAndProsper
Mind your health: To have or not to have good health depends on many things, but choice is a crucial factor. Genetic composition may determine our vulnerability to certain diseases, but how we live also matters.
Anyone who intends to enjoy the fruits of his/her sweat must make it a point to regularly visit his/her doctor. "Health is Wealth"
Monday Quote from my book #WorkAndProsper
The issue of children's ability to speak mother tongues ought to be discussed comprehensively...it's a real challenge in nearly all "middle class" families in Uganda.
Apparently, we're still under the colonial spell. Middle class parents speak to their children in English, even when the parents themselves can hardly speak it correctly, or even intelligibly, in some instances.
Quote from my book #WorkAndProsper
My advice to those with big companies: nurture your children into responsible managers; if they exhibit leadership qualities, hire them...if they lack (ability) of running an enterprise, keep them away; it's wiser to support them in other areas of their interest.
It's better for children to carry on their own dreams (away from you) than witnessing the death of your idea, at the hands of your very own flesh and blood.
A quote from my book #WorkAndProsper
Prosperity is engendered by trends. New ideas and technologies require new work methods.
For one to prosper, one must be abreast with what's going on in the world. And this isn't restricted to ICT, but everything else that comes up must be scrutinized. CPM
Monday quote from my book #WorkAndProsper
(The road to prosperity) starts in your mind. No one can rise to greatness unless one dreams it first.
Our mind is a potent force which only needs to be triggered, and once directed towards the desired destination, it can drive us there. I tell young people to harbor mega dreams, but they must adopt a strategy that matches their ambition.
Monday Quote from my book #WorkAndProsper
Your company or organization will not grow, or it will experience slow growth, when it is manned by incompetents.
I have heard stories where CEOs surround themselves with people who are below par, so that their positions aren't threatened!
My mind works in reverse psychology: the guarantee of stability in any position, is good performance. And this is difficult to realize with people who are not good enough. CPM

Prosperity requires a balance of faith and rational action. Identify root causes of misfortune, avoid non-essentials, and be efficient. True success comes from self-help combined with belief. #WorkAndProsper
Monday quote from my book #WorkAndProsper "Endurance pays off, eventually"
I constantly urge those with land to embark on growing coffee (and other crops), in a bid to fight poverty in Buganda and in Uganda, generally. The response I get is almost uniform everywhere: I don't' have enough land; coffee takes long to yield, coffee suffers with crop diseases, there are thieves and many others. I hear lots of such negatives.
But my answer to them always is; just get started and address the problems as you work your shamba.

Money follows an idea but it never generates ideas.
