They threw fireworks into the camp and beat students with wooden planks, metal rods, and clubs. All of it recorded on video. Over 100 individuals were injured. At least 25 students were transported to local emergency rooms suffering from severe lacerations, chemical burns, concussions, and bone fractures. Law enforcement and campus security did not intervene to halt the violence, allowing the assault to continue unchecked for over three hours before separating the groups. No counter-protesters were arrested that night.
