THE WITCHFINDER, YOUNG GIRLS & ONLINE CENSORSHIP: LIRON VELLEMAN Was: Officer of the Jewish Labour Movement Labour Councillor for Whetstone, N. London Policy officer at 'anti-far right' operation Hope Not Hate A contributor to the problematic 'Online Safety Bill' Turns out, Liron likes them young. He sent a nude video of himself to a 13-year-old schoolgirl. He sent messages discussing sex acts and urging her to send sexual pictures of herself. He used the alias “Tim Graham 95” which culminated in him stripping down to his underwear for a picture and sending a video of his penis. The problem for Velleman: it wasn't a 13-year-old but a police officer. They had him 'bang to rights', as they say in 70s cop shows. He pled guilty. The sentencing judge said: "This is where your reckless, vile and frankly devious interest in children has led you." Still only got a suspended sentence, though, and the lowest amount the judge could give him. The thought of him sickens me and not least because this perverse parasite has influenced how Brits communicate online. How many others - who contributed to the UK Online Safety Act - were equally compromised and had their own warped reasons for wanting to censor the rest of us on social media?
