The Air Pollution Control District has been mismanaging its pollution credit system, allowing industries to use fake & overvalued credits, further contributing to the pollution in the San Joaquin Valley.

Air Districts are scared of transparency & would rather continue polluting the air than be held accountable.

The changes proposed by #AB985 will require a significant amount of resources in time and staffing. These increased costs will not provide improved air quality and could instead be better invested in other activities like incentivizing clean transportation.
