Congratulations #ACPMember @InvenergyLLC on opening the Hardin III Solar Energy Center in Ohio! The solar panels at Hardin III were manufactured in Ohio, by Ohioans, at Illuminate USA’s facility that employs more than 1,500 people in the state. The 250 MW facility created more than 350 jobs during construction and is expected to generate $180 million of new investment to the county—while delivering clean, reliable power to the community for years to come.
The third Invenergy-developed solar facility in Hardin County, Ohio has commenced commercial operations.
Hardin III is powered by American-made solar panels produced by Illuminate USA, an advanced solar panel manufacturing company majority owned by Invenergy.
@WECEnergyGroup is the majority owner of Hardin III, and the project will support @Microsoft through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
