Great to see growing clinical interest in approaches that integrate #ADAS3D CT-based atrial segmentation with hidden slow conduction (HSC) mapping. The authors suggest that combining functional mapping with CT tissue characterization may better define substrate features and help guide more tailored ablation strategies. Great example of how advanced imaging integration is transforming electrophysiology.
In this case of ventricular tachycardia in arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy, #ADAS3D enabled CT and MRI integration to precisely identify intramyocardial fat and the fibrotic substrate. The strong correlation with high-density mapping supported accurate substrate-guided ablation and a successful outcome. Thanks to Dr. @chipa_fredy for sharing these results.

In the ELEGANCE multicenter study, #ADAS3D served as a core imaging tool to support clinical research and a tailored cardioneuroablation strategy. Physicians identified and segmented epicardial fat pads corresponding to ganglionated plexi locations, based on tissue attenuation values, and integrated this information with left atrial wall thickness maps.

Have you ever wondered how focal pulsed field ablation lesions look like in the atrium❓
🫵🏻Visualization of monopolar biphasic focal pulsed-field ablation lesions three months after pulmonary vein isolation on high-resolution 3D dark-blood LGE CMR images.
Our data show: 🆕
👉🏻 Left atrial regions that were ablated with monopolar focal #PFA have a significant higher IIR compared to non-ablated regions
👉🏻1.08 is the optimal IIR threshold to distinguish between ablated and non-ablated regions
Interesting: 🆕👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻
👉🏻This threshold closely aligns with the optimal IIR threshold for ablation lesions using thermal energy sources
👉🏻 No adaption of thresholds may be needed for visualization of F-PFA ablation lesions
⁉️Maybe chronic PFA lesions are not so much different than chronic radiofrequency and cryo ablation lesions⁉️
