Ok Folks. That's a wrap for #askFBG. Thanks for being a part of Footballguys and let's crush it this year.
#AskFBG. pick 12 3wr nonppr. Any strategy 1st 4 rounds? If i go wr/wr in mocks my RBs get rough rounds 3/4.
Maybe late/middle rounds here, but:
Darwin Thompson
Justin Jackson
Justice Hill
Tony Pollard
Getting Hines a lot as my RB4/5.

Curtis Samuel or DJ Moore?? #AskFBG
First 10-14 days after return to football-related activity are the time of highest risk.
Derrick Henry is close to getting out of the highest risk zone.
Barring a late setback, he should be ready for Week 1.

Don't think Cam Newton has a long-term midfoot sprain. Yet to be determined if he's at full strength and capable of his usual scrambling/rushing workload.
Anticipate he'll be near full strength for Week 1 unless he's not practicing next Wednesday.

Gurley's degenerative knee is already a persistent problem.
But there's no way to know whether one hit or one cut or one heavy workload will leave Gurley limited the following week.
And Gurley is far from the only player with this condition.
#AskFBG
@JeneBramel What's the time table before it is a more persistent problem or what is it based on?
Likely variance.
ACL tears are predominantly non-contact injuries. I'm not aware of any significant changes in practice habits across the league to limit risk.
#AskFBG
@JeneBramel Do you get the sense preseason injuries (ie ACLs) are down? If so, do you think it’s technology improvements, reduced hitting, some other cause, or just variance? #AskFBG
I think Gurley is a reasonable risk at his current mid-2nd round ADP, yes.

Have to consider Gurley week-to-week.
But there's no reason to fear or expect him to struggle immediately. Lots of players with degenerative conditions have had successful and productive seasons.
2/2

Y'all know I'm not a fan of the term injury prone. But Jordan Reed has had multiple concussions requiring multiple weeks of rehab. Washington saying he's likely to be cleared but another head injury this season would likely mean an extended absence. #AskFBG
Lots of questions about Amari Cooper. Cowboys have been very cautious. Cooper said he's played with a similar condition before. There are no reports of Week 1 concern.
I'm expecting him to see a full workload. A full week of practice would be reassuring. #AskFBG
There are now only 1218 spots open in the Footballguys Players Championships. It's drafting around the clock Friday - Monday. Don't miss out. It's going to sell out. https://t.co/922dy7dCHj
