Being a screenwriter, your story truly becomes your baby. About a year ago, The Professor was born when a character from another project called to me she simply deserved her own world. This has easily become one of my favorite bodies of work. It’s a high stakes psychological thriller packed with razor-sharp comedic timing, intense suspense, deep awakening, and just a dash of romance. But the real magic? The jaw dropping, magnetic chemistry between the leads. Praying one of my projects finally comes to fruition with the incredible #CharlotteAustin and #BeckyArmstrong. Here is a little taste of the final scene... 🎬✨ #TheProfessor #GL #Screenwriting #ShakeTerxCharlotte #ชาล็อตออสติน #KhunCharlotte SMILEY BESIDE CHARLOTTE01 I. LOGLINE When an untouchable, hyper-analytical behavioral psychology professor suffers a hidden mental health crisis, her brilliant and deceptively devoted new transfer student step-by-step seizes control of her academic, personal, and chemical stability, orchestrating a calculated, ruinous game of obsession where the professor unknowingly becomes the prey. II. SERIES OVERVIEW The Professor is a high-stakes psychological thriller exploring the terrifying, blurred lines between absolute loyalty, severe isolation, and parasitic obsession. Set against the sleek, modern backdrop of Bangkok's elite academic circles, the series functions as a masterclass in dark duality and psychological warfare. The Professor, STARRING: • CHARLOTTE AUSTIN as DR. VICTORIA KITTISOPHON (The Professor) • BECKY ARMSTRONG as CASSANDRA "CASSY" TEERAKAN Final scene EXT. POLICE HEADQUARTERS - DAY (PRESENT DAY - FINALE ENDING SCENE) Bright, natural sunlight cuts through the smog of Bangkok. The heavy glass doors of the police station swing open. DR. VICTORIA KITTISOPHON steps out. She looks battered, exhausted, her skin bruised from the ordeal, but her posture is slowly returning to its natural elegance. She is finally a free woman. She descends the stone steps, stopping at the bottom. Standing by the curb, leaning against a post, is CASSY. She looks immaculate, completely unaffected, wearing a stylish jacket, watching Victoria with that same unyielding, adoring gaze from nine months ago. They stand several feet apart, just staring at each other for a long, heavy, unblinking time. The silence stretches, loaded with everything they’ve been through. Finally, Cassy tilts her head, breaking the ice in her classic, unapologetic British cadence. CASSY In retrospect... if I hadn’t overly stepped my affection for you— Victoria cuts her off. A sudden, sharp laugh bursts from her throat, a raw, hysterical laugh that she has not let out in months. VICTORIA I think the word is stalked. You stalked me, Cassy. Cassy places a hand over her heart, her lips twitching into a pout. CASSY Victoria, you wound me. My affection for you is entirely real. I just... never completed the course on healthy boundaries. Plus, if I hadn't, you wouldn't be free today. So... bygones? Victoria shakes her head, a genuine, warm smile breaking through her exhaustion. Her voice drops into a serious, deeply grateful tone. VICTORIA Cassy... thank you. Thank you for being my number one stalker. And for saving my life. They both break out laughing, the heavy tension completely evaporating between them. Cassy steps closer, chuckling. CASSY Well, it was touch and go there for a minute. Especially when I kissed you on the office sofa, and you woke up just enough to pass back out, telling me I was a horrible kisser and how wrong it was to kiss a woman. Victoria freezes. Her eyes widen in absolute, genuine shock. The clinical professor completely vanishes, replaced by a flustered, defensive woman. VICTORIA Cassandra! I never in a million years said you were a bad kisser, or that kissing a woman is wrong! (Victoria steps in, words rushing out at lightning speed, her voice elevated) VICTORIA (CONT'D) I had a fiancé, and I was your Professor! There were ethical codes to follow! I could not get caught up in a beautiful woman giving me the best kiss of my life and lose my job! Victoria stops. She breathes heavily, realizing exactly what she just shouted at the top of her lungs in public. A stunned, electric silence falls over them. They both stare at each other, completely shocked by the confession. Slowly, a beautiful, devilish, victorious smile spreads across Cassy’s face. She steps right into Victoria's personal space, locking eyes. CASSY The best, huh? Victoria looks down, shy, completely embarrassed, but a soft, defeated smile tugs at her lips. She shakes her head, unable to deny it anymore. VICTORIA I’m starving. You wanna get brunch? Cassy’s face glows with pure, unadulterated twenty one year old excitement, the exact same energy from the day she got the RA job. CASSY Our first date. A sleek ride-share car pulls up smoothly to the curb beside them. Cassy opens the door, gesturing for Victoria to step in first. Victoria looks back at her, eyes shining, and slides into the car. Cassy follows, closing the door behind them. The car pulls away into the Bangkok traffic. [UPBEAT, HIP HOP BIG PUN STILL NOT A PLAYER KICKS IN] SMASH CUT TO BLACK. CREDITS ROLL.
