1) White Bread
Ingredients:
β’ 3 cups all-purpose flour
β’ 1 packet instant yeast (2ΒΌ tsp)
β’ 1 cup warm water
β’ 2 tbsp sugar
β’ 2 tbsp butter, softened
β’ 1Β½ tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5β10 minutes.
2. Add butter, salt, and flour gradually.
3. Knead 8β10 minutes until smooth.
4. Cover and let rise 1 hour.
5. Shape into a loaf and place in greased pan.
6. Rise again 30β40 minutes.
7. Bake at 180Β°C (350Β°F) for 25β30 minutes.
8. Cool before slicing.
2) Whole Wheat Bread
Ingredients:
β’ 3 cups whole wheat flour
β’ 1 packet instant yeast
β’ 1 cup warm water
β’ 2 tbsp honey
β’ 2 tbsp oil
β’ 1Β½ tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Combine warm water, honey, and yeast. Rest 5 minutes.
2. Add oil, salt, and flour.
3. Knead until elastic (10 minutes).
4. Let rise 1β1Β½ hours.
5. Shape into loaf and place in pan.
6. Rise 30 minutes.
7. Bake at 180Β°C (350Β°F) for 30β35 minutes.
3) Sourdough Bread
Ingredients:
β’ 3Β½ cups bread flour
β’ 1 cup sourdough starter
β’ 1Β½ cups warm water
β’ 1Β½ tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Mix starter and water.
2. Add flour and salt, mix into shaggy dough.
3. Rest 30 minutes (autolyse).
4. Stretch and fold dough 3β4 times over 2 hours.
5. Let ferment 4β6 hours or overnight.
6. Shape and proof 1β2 hours.
7. Bake at 220Β°C (425Β°F) for 35β40 minutes with steam.
4) French Baguette
Ingredients:
β’ 3 cups bread flour
β’ 2ΒΌ tsp active dry yeast
β’ 1ΒΌ cups warm water
β’ 2 tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
2. Add flour and salt, mix well.
3. Knead 8β10 minutes.
4. Let rise 1 hour.
5. Divide and shape into long baguettes.
6. Proof 30β45 minutes.
7. Score top and bake at 220Β°C (425Β°F) for 20β25 minutes.
5) Italian Ciabatta
Ingredients:
β’ 4 cups bread flour
β’ 1 tsp instant yeast
β’ 1ΒΎ cups warm water
β’ 2 tbsp olive oil
β’ 1Β½ tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Mix flour, yeast, and water into sticky dough.
2. Add salt and olive oil.
3. Let rise 1β2 hours.
4. Gently fold dough without deflating much.
5. Shape into rectangles.
6. Bake at 220Β°C (425Β°F) for 20β25 minutes.
6) Banana Bread
Ingredients:
β’ 2 cups all-purpose flour
β’ 3 ripe bananas, mashed
β’ 1/2 tsp baking soda
β’ 1/3 cup melted butter
β’ 3/4 cup brown sugar
β’ 2 eggs
Instructions:
1. Mash bananas in a bowl.
2. Mix in melted butter and sugar.
3. Add eggs and stir well.
4. Fold in flour and baking soda.
5. Pour into greased loaf pan.
6. Bake at 175Β°C (350Β°F) for 50β60 minutes.
7. Cool before slicing.
7) Brioche
Ingredients:
β’ 3Β½ cups bread flour
β’ 1 packet instant yeast
β’ 1/3 cup sugar
β’ 5 eggs
β’ 10 tbsp butter, softened
β’ 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
2. Add eggs and mix until combined.
3. Gradually add butter and knead until smooth.
4. Let rise 1β2 hours.
5. Shape and place in loaf pan.
6. Rise again 45 minutes.
7. Bake at 180Β°C (350Β°F) for 25β30 minutes.
π Focaccia
Ingredients:
β’ 4 cups all-purpose flour
β’ 1 packet instant yeast
β’ 1ΒΎ cups warm water
β’ 1/4 cup olive oil
β’ 1Β½ tsp salt
β’ Herbs (optional)
Instructions:
1. Mix warm water and yeast.
2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil.
3. Knead lightly (dough stays soft).
4. Let rise 1 hour.
5. Press into oiled baking tray.
6. Dimple surface and drizzle olive oil.
7. Add herbs if desired.
8. Bake at 200Β°C (400Β°F) for 20β25 minutes.
9) Classic Baguette (Egg-Enriched Style)
Ingredients:
β’ 3Β½ cups bread flour
β’ 1 packet instant yeast
β’ 1/2 cup sugar
β’ 5 eggs
β’ 10 tbsp butter
β’ 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Mix yeast with warm liquid.
2. Add flour, sugar, eggs, and salt.
3. Knead well, then add butter gradually.
4. Let rise 1 hour.
