#BTCB2 is a Bitcoin fork using the #Blake2b proof-of-work algorithm.
That means existing Blake2b #ASICs can potentially be used to mine it.
A familiar algorithm.
A new network.

The #XBT piechart on https://t.co/FyQhQFIlkY look so nice now, showing the #DATUM pools splitting the pie even further. This is what #decentralization is all about!
Alphapool is still at 36%...
It's gone down why isn't it going closer to 30% or 25% as @TwhitNub101 said it would be?
Calling existing #Blake2B miners an "attack" isn't right, but allowing this re-org threat to loom over #BTCB2 isn't cool either.
Let's get this under 30%.
@TwhitNub101 It's expected that Sia miners would come online once they could profit on #BTCB2. And if the default pool was Alpha that explains their high hashrate.
That's why I am seeing the 50% danger as being more about unexpected consequences of XBT team decisions, not intentional malice.
