Top Tweets for #buildatea
Again, because broken polls:
Mint or mint adjacent?
(for evoking cold)
Like for Mint, Retweet for adjacent, QT to give me a larger sample size?

Since someone broke polls...
...Rosemary (like)
...or hops (retweet)
*would appreciate sharing for increased data set size*
(Yes, this is at least partially for a tea.)

Floral won the final #BuildATea poll.
Now I just need to figure out if wanting to try lavender first is:
-because I've been sort of fixated on it this year
-because it seems so right for this year
-because I know it works well with Tulsi
-because I want to see it with rooibos
Last step of the recent iteration of #BuildATea.
There is definitely going to be a green (roasted or green kukicha?) with tulsi and a fruit. (Apple? Elderberry?)
However, there is also going to be a green, tulsi and... *points at poll*
#DSNTeaLab
Just a heads-up that the #BuildATea project will be spinning out one or two more polls.
Chewing on the data a bit before deciding how to construct them/whether it is one or two...
...but one will be appearing a bit later on, probably run it for a day.
Final (?) step of the recent iteration of #BuildATea - this stage will choose the extra or extras that go with the green tea and tulsi.
I'd like d8 rolls, if you are willing.
(Same bonuses and appreciations.)
#DSNTeaLab
...I was going to put up what might be the final stage of this iteration of #BuildATea, and then realized there have been some time zone issues... so I think I will wait until I'm shutting down workbox for the day.
Potential bonus: having pretty dice pics tomorrow morning.
As Herbal/Green won the poll, moving on to the next stage of this iteration of #BuildATea.
(Though I may make a tea alongside to potentially be called "The Collie Has Spoken" because it amuses me.)
4 options. Which means I would love some d4 rolls.
Shorter than usual, for us, just a smattering of hours on this one.
What I mean by "not tea base" is one of the things not tea plant that I consider to be a foundation ingredient. Chicory, Hawthorn Berries, various barleys, lemon balm, peppermint...

Since I am stepping away from the computer for a bit, moving on to Step 2 of this version of #BuildATea...
The dice rolls plus the Pet RNGs left us with a few options. Figured I'd put this set of choices to a poll.
(Attached, since I can't quote-tweet a poll with a poll.)

I need some whimsy today.
So... I want to build a tea. And I want it to be both random and ordered, by chance but with a purpose.
If you'd like to potentially help, vote in this poll. (Let me know if I can tag you once the project properly begins.)

...and now I am being amused by the concept of "provenance of dice."
Anyway, I haven't decided yet whether I will average the rolls or choose the die that speaks to me the most or... but this is how the foundation of this #BuildATea blend is being chosen.

Dice won by a fairly sizable margin.
I will start the process on that soon.
(If you'd like to be involved in this version of #BuildATea, let me know.)

Scattering of moments left to weigh in on the #BuildATea project.
As the voting seems to be going right now, this will be the last stage.
Potentially the last step of the #BuildATea project.
We've come down to Golden Monkey, Chocolate, and Spices. Need to nail down that last one a touch.
And now we move on to what could be the final stage.
So far we have Golden Monkey and one of our forms of cacao.
Do we go further, and add other things, or do we stop at Chocolate Golden Monkey?
#BuildATea #DSNTeaLab
(Retweets appreciated.)
Okay. The step after this I forgot to attach, but I took the poll off Twitter due to number of options, and the winner was Golden Monkey.
The next stage can be done here.
What should we add to it?
(If you choose four, please elaborate.)
#BuildATea #DSNTeaLab
So.. I was a bit surprised by the results of the first external to Twitter #BuildATea voting. I was fairly certain it would come down solidly for Earl Grey. Instead, Golden Monkey won by a vote.
(Which means we can continue on for one tea.)
One last time, looking for input on our #BuildATea project.
Since I didn't get to tallying things yesterday, I will keep collecting votes until Mister Tea gets home this evening.
We have a new post for you today, though it is... not a very chewy one, being basically a vehicle for the #BuildATea project.
I decided to go with a survey on the website, so all the teas could be looked at at once.

Trying to decide on the best way to go about the next stage of the #BuildATea polls.
Figured start with choosing the black that will be the foundation for the whole.
Since it is to be a black and (?).
However, Twitter only allows 4 poll options.
