I didn't know much about the #BurmaRoad. I'd seen a few newsreels. It seemed like a hot, rainy, malarial place to be posted in #WWII: a sideshow to Europe. My dad was posted to the Pacific during the war, but he wasn't near Burma. And he never spoke of his service, anyway. 3/
