Today #ClassPeace visited the war memorial in Hull City Centre as part of their History topic this term. CN - it made me feel sad because people died. BA- Lots of children died in the Blitz.

In Science #ClassPeace have been learning what a micro-organism is and investigated fungi by growing mould on bread. We are going to observe it daily and see how quick it grows! 🔬🍞
This week #ClassPeace have continued making their teddy. They have added stuffing and considered how they would improve it next time. MH - I like the one eye and weird hair. CN - I won't add buttons next time so I can use it as a pillow. 🧸🪡
This half term, in D&T, we are making teddy bears. To compliment this unit of work, #ClassPeace visited @buildabear and made their own bears. CH - I enjoyed picking the t-shirt for my bear. CN - stuffing the bear was fun, fun, fun! MH - my bear has a heart inside. 🐻
#ClassPeace had a wonderful experience reading to Maddie the dog this afternoon. MH - thought the red panda in his book looked a bit like her. CN - Maddie is the cutest dog ever, I loved reading to her 🐶📚
Some of the boys in #ClassPeace used geoboards in Math's today. This helped them draw their 2-D shapes. @WhiteRoseEd
#ClassPeace have had an interesting afternoon observing different materials under the microscope. CN said - the sugar was the best thing to look at closely, because it looked like ice cubes under the microscope.
#ClassPeace would like to say a huge thank you to Mrs Adams for setting up a wonderful art exhibition. We have really enjoyed showcasing our art work to parents, carers and other pupils of Bridgeview 🎨🧑🎨
#ClassPeace practiced a backstitch, running stitch and an over sew stitch. CH said the running stitch was easier but the backstitch looks better. Great work! 🪡
#ClassPeace visited @AldiUK today to purchase special treats to fill boxes which will be donated to the @age_uk shoebox appeal. We will be wrapping them this week and dropping off at a Hull store.
