Fondly looking back over our #CSSCHeritage we came across our Golden Jubilee Dinner in 1971. Amongst the many speeches and toasts, reference was made to the long and valued association with the sports bodies of the Armed Services. #SaluteOurForces
We found these illustrations of 'Representative Badges' in one of our CS Sports Journals from the 1920's. According to our records, they were awarded to members who represented the civil service when competing against one of the 'Sister Services'! #CSSCHeritage #SaluteOurForces

Did you know that CSSC was born on 4 November 1921? This letter was read out at the formation meeting from His Royal Highness, the Duke of York, which comprised the first official recognition of the Service from the Throne! #CSSCHeritage

Look what we found, one of the first CS Sports Journals! Sir Lewis presented the Football Challenge Cup to CSSC at our sixth ever meeting. 97 years on, the trophy is still used today for our Lewis Cup event, we'll be hosting the quarter and semi-finals next week! #CSSCHeritage
