Somalia National Bureau of Statistics welcomed DG @Yusuf_Wadani of @SomaliaMolsa to its Mogadishu headquarters today as part of routine stakeholder engagements. A Historic Milestone for Somalia! SNBS launches three groundbreaking statistical achievements: District-Level Poverty Estimates, Phase II of the Somalia Statistics Project and Somalia’s first harmonized National Consumer Price Index (CPI). The high-level event was attended by the Minister of Planning, Minister of Labour and SNBS DG. Also in attendance were Federal State Minister for Fisheries & Blue Economy, Galmudug Planning Minister, World Bank Task Team Leader, SNBS departmental directors, other government officials, UN Agencies (FAO, UNFPA), academia, private sector and media.
