Awww…. I help rescue cats & kittens out of particular high kill shelters, esp #DevoreCA. Sometimes the young kittens are so sick by the time we can save them that they do not survive. I wish all kittens could receive a good start in life, as these cutie-pies have. #CatsOfTwitter
#DevoreCA shelter: if rescues cannot get transporters due to weather, please do not kill more cats & dogs. We are trying to save the cats. If you must, put some of the cats in your cardboard carriers that we know you have, set them up high, give them a chance to survive. Please.
@Bron1954 @PeterAskin1 @NYCMayorsOffice Also avoid #DevoreCA, where they will not explain why on 7-25, 17 cats (some were kittens) died on the way to the vet, 1 survived. 2 days later they killed 5 sweet kittens, the next day 12 cats. Also avoid Lindon, UT where they gas innocent cats & dogs in a slow torturous death.
