MY SUNDAY THOUGHTS:
@Julius_S_Malema and the @EFFSouthAfrica have been trying for years to warn South Africans about the reluctance of many Afrikaners to embrace the idea of "unity." Afrikaners often seem to resist being on an equal footing with others in South Africa, as they detest the notion that Black South Africans could be their equals. As Julius Malema frequently points out, they have not adopted anything distinctly African; for instance, most of them refuse to sing the "Nkosi Sikelel' iAfrika" part of the national anthem, yet they belt out "Die Stem" with full enthusiasm. People like this fail to understand why they are no longer permitted to oppress Africans, and as a result, they travel the world spreading false narratives to vilify the very government that has gone to great lengths to forgive them for their racist atrocities.
It’s a lie to claim otherwise, because both official statistics and common knowledge reveal that Black South Africans have been sidelined from the economy for decades. This exclusion has led to a significant increase in the number of unemployed Black males over the years. Yes, the ANC government has failed dismally to create jobs, but the deeper issue is that this high unemployment rate has turned South Africa into a crime-ridden country. This affects not just Afrikaners but people from all walks of life. When you examine official statistics, farm owners aren’t even the most affected group. The real issue here is the ANC government’s failure to combat crime in South African communities; not some fabricated "Afrikaner genocide." That narrative is a blatant lie and an attempt to undermine the "equality" and "unity" that most Black South Africans have been advocating for.
Sometimes, it’s worth taking the time to listen to the EFF and its leader, Julius Malema. He consistently offers a broader, long-term perspective, like a giraffe looking over the landscape, on what we can expect in the future. It’s simple logic: if someone commits a terrible evil against you, causing lasting damage and disadvantage, and you choose to forgive them and live alongside them without any accountability, you’re essentially harming yourself. How can that be just if the perpetrator never faces consequences for their atrocities and continues to live in luxury on your land while you’re left begging for scraps?
