Slowly analyzing our fire-generated vortex (FGV) radar data from the Dixie Fire on 8/16/2021: This period with orbiting cyclonic sub-vortices yields +/- 42 m/s flows (93 mph) spanning at ~400 m wide vortex core. Instead, I'm diving into vortex tracking from our radar observations of #DixieFire counter-rotating vortex pair (CVP) observations.
