It’s not every day you get to meet your sporting hero! At #EPXV, we’re still buzzing from the unforgettable experience of the last two days.
Not only did we have the honour of being coached by French rugby icon Philippe Sella—a three-time Grand Slam winner—today we also got to sit down with him to share stories and ideas.
We talked rugby’s physicality and the grind for excellence, how the game has evolved, and what it takes to shine at the highest level.
But the real takeaway? The power of friendship, solidarity, and union – the values at the heart of both rugby and our European Union.
Huge thanks to @Sportkipik for helping make our inspiring conference happen, the Mayor of Brussels @PhilippeClose for hosting our team and Belgian rugby reps at Brussels City Hall, and, of course, Philippe Sella for showing us how sport unites us! 🏉🇪🇺
