Day 28
I learnt that as much PMs are not required to have coding experience to perform well, technical fluency is preferred as it helps to facilitate better communication between PMs and developers, so basic knowledge of HTML,SQL and backend dev will do well for a PM.

Day 27
Today I learnt that although PMs are not required to understand designs as designers do,every PM should have the basic understanding of designs so as to understand stakeholdersโ design requests and even assess designs from the designers for functionality.
#EverydayPM.
Day 26
Agile frameworks are basically a collection of practices with Scrum being the most popular.

Day 21
The reality of building products is that you can never get everything done.Priorities can shift and resources can be reallocated, but the important thing is to be sure the team is working on the most important thing first.
#EverydayPM
Day 20
I learnt about prioritization while building the features of a product. Each feature is a mini MVP so the focus should be on the feature that lets you learn the most with the least effort.I also learnt how the MSCW framework is used to prevent scope creep.

Day 19
Very much still on user story. The user story should be around the user needs and their intent for using your product. User needs are already in the insight gotten from the assumption and MVP testing stages.
#EverydayPM
Day 18
Your user story must be specific about the type of user, the goal of the user and their reason for using your product.
#EverydayPM
Day 17
Hereโs whatโs for today;
A user story is a communication tool used to frame userโs need and see from their perspective. It must have a piece of business value that the PM team can deliver within a short amount of time.

Day 16
Today,I learnt about the process of creating a MVP and I got to write a detailed MVP strategy for the case study I am working on.
#EverydayPM
Day 15
Prototypes, unlike MVPs are created for the sake of finding errors and they are far from perfect. They usually donโt make it to the market but they still get to be in the customerโs hands.

Day 12
Rounded up the interviews and completed the document with insights from the interview.
Tomorrow is going to be a day to compare all Iโve been doing with what exactly they are meant to be.
#EverydayPM
Day 11
Had some interviews and started curating common user experience and difficulties along the user journey.
I was particularly excited when my first interviewee confirmed the process I had mapped out prior to the interview.
I actually love this processโค๏ธ

Day 10!
I didnโt get to do much, just curated my user interview questions and scheduled calls with my interviewees.

I took the rest part of the weekend seriously today๐น.
Day 5
Product managers donโt technically come up with ideas themselves, they look for ideas in various places and usually already have a backlog of ideas to pick from.
#EverydayPM
C for what?
Consistency!!
Day 4!
Eventually, your product wil see a decline,it can be quick or slow but it will come and has to be prepared for. PMs make the decision to either keep, kill or reboot the product at this stage.
#EverydayPM
Day 3 is here, letโs see what we got!
There are three phases of a product and they are:
a)Discovery-Figuring out what to build.
b)Delivery-Buliding and launching the product.
c)Market Adoption- Finding the product-market fit.
#EverydayPM
Sidebar:I actually am enjoying this!
Everyday Iโll drop something I learn from my product management class for accountability and because learning publicly never hurt no one!
