A new virus called #EvilLoader is stealing Telegram accounts and all data from infected phones!
How does it work? 🔍
1️⃣ The virus hides in a video file — you open it, see an “error” and get a prompt to “update Telegram” or “install a video player”
2️⃣ Click “OK”? The virus is already on your device.
3️⃣ It’s often spread through fake bots, like “Free Telegram Premium”
⚠️ Reminder:
▶️ Don’t download files from unknown sources or install APKs outside Google Play.
▶️ Enable 2FA in Telegram (Settings → Privacy & Security)
▶️ Check active sessions (Settings → Devices) and log out of any unknown ones.
❗️ Telegram isn’t just a messenger anymore. If you store crypto or important data there, make sure your security is on point.

Two days ago, #Telegram patched the #EvilLoader vulnerability- server side.
Today, I was finally able to verify it.
Telegram fixed it within 48 hours from my report.

I ricercatori hanno scoperto un nuovo attacco chiamato #EvilLoader. Il malware si camuffa da file video che, quando viene aperto in #Telegram, visualizza il messaggio: "L'applicazione non può riprodurre questo video" con un'offerta per aprirlo nel browser.
Se l'utente accetta, viene reindirizzato a una pagina falsa dell'app store, da cui il virus viene scaricato sul dispositivo.
Questo metodo consente agli hacker di infettare i gadget senza essere rilevati e di tracciare gli indirizzi IP delle vittime.
