UPDATE:
(#ExecOrder7 is one of @MBuhari’s most important infrastructure legacies. Tax credits to private companies in exchange for upfront financing of the fixing of major roads and highways. In this case, @MTNNG was the beneficiary/awardee)

“Policy, more than budget, has been the biggest source of capital mobilization for #infrastructure in recent times… Policy initiatives such as the Tax Credit Scheme initiated by #ExecOrder7 of 2019 have over time started to yield results. Companies like @nigeriaLNG, @DangoteGroup, @MTNNG, GZ Industries, @BUAgroup and @nnpclimited are embracing it to mobilize capital for construction.” — @tundefashola (Nov 30, 2023)
I warmly received the @BUAgroup Executive Director, Alh. Kabiru Rabiu, at the Katsina State Government House.
He was in Katsina to discuss the 132 kms Kano-Kongollam dual carriageway worth N115b connecting the three states of Kano, Jigawa, and Katsina States. The project is being financed by the BUA Group under the Federal Government Road Infrastructure Tax Credit policy.
On our part as government, I assured the group our support to recover its right of way to ensure timely delivery of the project.

Mobilizing TRILLIONS of Naira for Road Infra:

This Road Infrastructure Tax Credit Scheme aka #ExecOrder7 has been a real gamechanger for federal roads in Nigeria. Executive Order implementing it signed by @MBuhari in 2019. Now featuring some of Nigeria’s biggest companies, incl Dangote, MTN, NNPCL and NLNG
“Onitsha – Enugu dual carriage way is a very busy road and if not the most important in South East for our people. It is such a commendable engagement by MTN I visited this road last week , I like what RCC Construction company is doing ,https://t.co/NQMjW1x8f1
Love this. Learning from the challenges at Apapa and Tin Can Ports. I’m also hoping the new Port Access Road under #ExecOrder7 gets completed on schedule.
DID YOU KNOW?
Lekki Deep Sea Port has created a 153 capacity pre-gate truck park to ensure efficient and seamless traffic management control at the port.

#ExecOrder7 Companies include some of Nigeria's biggest: @DangoteGroup @MTNNG @BUAgroup @nnpclimited
#HDMIng concessionaires include the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC); China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd (CHEC); and Enyimba Economic City Consortium.
BRF helped PMB deliver some of the most transformational infrastructure initiatives in the history of #Nigeria. First, #ExecOrder7 (Tax Credit for Road Infra), and then #HDMIng (concessioning major Federal Road Corridors to private sector players, for management & maintenance).
Incorrect to say nobody asking/concerned. There’s INFO out there.
Under the Road Infra Tax Credit Scheme #ExecOrder7, a dedicated 54km Access Road has been awarded, to connect the LFTZ (Deep-Sea Port / Dangote Refinery, etc) to Sagamu-Benin Exp, thru Epe.
So there’s def a PLAN.

No one in the Nigerian media is asking the LASG and or Dangote HOW fuel products will be transported from that refinery. Everyone is shinning teeth and nodding like lizards. That entire corridor is about to become a nightmare for residents and commuters.
Funding is guaranteed for the completion of this project. Enugu-bound side almost completed (as at Q4 2022); bulk of outstanding work, to be financed by MTN, is on Onitsha-bound side.
