After watching This #AlleyBoy interview with #BigBank, where he spoke on the raw hatred many street guys feel toward #Rappers, I scrolled the comments & saw the same tired pattern: #FalseEquivalencies dressed up as common sense. You cannot fairly compare a struggling rapper to a #Successful construction worker Etc. One is still building; the other has already secured his floor. Example: A proven artist like #Future clears multiples of what even a top tradesperson earns and the gap holds even for independents like #TechN9ne, #LarryJune, #38Spesh Etc. The real distinction isn’t between “real work” and “rapping.” It’s between a high floor of Predictable Security and a high ceiling of asymmetric upside. Most people resent the latter because it exposes how little their safety actually costs them. They resent the ceiling because they’ve already accepted the floor… #PerspektivesWithBank
