So currently the additive blend table is generated for each palette entry that's changed, this feels pretty good to me, unless you changed all of them every frame you won't feel it.
Also don't change every color every frame you muppet !! #gamedev #FCDEV_JAM

Shoot! not going to make my deadline for #FCDEV_JAM. Just not enough time after squandering a week and missing some days. Learned a lot! Implemented a file system and SECD VM. Leared about setjmp.h lib in C. Realized transpiling to Lua may be a route to open up FCs to new langs.

Oh yes! Trans-piling to Lua was an amazing idea for #FCDEV_JAM! There is going to probably be a lot of gotchas but I can run a Hello World now!
Starting to think the best course of action for my #FCDEV_JAM may be to transpile a TI-BASIC-like language to Lua and then use Lua's virtual machine to run code. Hmm.
Progress on #FCDEV_JAM. Added some menus/screens... create game, game edit, and the start to the code editor! Mapped the | (pipe) to the -> symbol for the classic TI-BASIC feel. A var store would be `:10|x`, or store 10 to X.

Dumping my delusions of grandeur and targeting an FC I may actually be able to finish for #FCDEV_JAM. Not much to show yet, but the display, character cell drawing, & menus are operating. The underlying architecture should support swapping menus, tools, & games nicely...

Derp! #FCDEV_JAM is like all my other game jams. Ambition has ballooned to max capacity. Yeah, sure, I can build an interpreter for a made up, purely functional language in a week and still have time for everthing else... bet in a week I'll abandon it all and settle on Lua.
After two days of wrestling with browser input weirdness, I finally got the text editor working. Now I have a week to write a BASIC interpreter.
