Even though it's a half-a-year since I made any updates, I'm still using #Feedster
Actually, I wonder how stuck to my morning routine. Worth digging further?
#Feedster's update ๐
I'd love to share that the new web dashboard is finally operating on the internet!
In a matter of days, we will be launching our early access (which will be Absolutely Free!)
Many thanks to @tuaMascot for taking over the DNS and deployment setup ๐ฆพ
Roast the new color palette for the #Feedster's landing page?
I know, purple has become a bit too cheesy these days, but looks awesome anyway, doesn't it? ๐

After a year of building...
...and re-building...
...and re-building #Feedster, I finally did it!
No, I haven't released anything
I just bought a domain ๐

๐งฑ Handmade newsfeed design for #Feedster.
-> Each block is a newsletter or article parsed by Feedster on a daily basis
-> Each title is a backlink to the source
Launching early access soon ๐

The web version is going on pretty fast for #Feedster:
"Itching own scratch" - processing daily newsfeed by the power of GPT and user-declared learning goals.

Roast the UI.
Almost zero CSS, just React Suite as UI kit.
Slowly going forward with the web dashboard for #Feedster
Actually, I know that looks shitty, it works pretty well though๐

#Feedster is being developed on a new stack:
- @nextofficial 13th
- @nestframework
We have dropped Notion-based UI since it's a headache every time we want to onboard someone to our app.
Will go forward with standard React UI with full control over authorization
They say freebies are the best lead magnet.
But I don't have any so far.
#indiehackers, do think a Notion-based RSS reader would be a good way to get eyeballs on #Feedster?
๐ฃ Excited to announce #Feedster as launched on @gumroad!
๐ฐ Feedster lets you read the news right in your Notion Dashboard.
๐ฏ Moreover, it summarizes and filters your feed by your goals, giving you only the essence worth checking out.

#Feedster updates:
โ๏ธ Trying hard to run a server on EC2
โน๏ธ Created a form with @TallyForms to fill in integration info (how lovely it is!)
๐ Working on the Gumroad page: check out the cover there ๐
This weekend I plan to expose it already ๐ช

1๏ธโฃ1๏ธโฃ days before the launch of #Feedster on Gumroad.
โ๐ผ Working on copy and installation guides
โ๏ธ Migrating code from local to cloud
๐ฎ Anticipating a learning rollercoaster afterward
#buildinpublic
#Feedster updates:
โ
Variablize all ids I can grab from the template
โ๏ธ Next task: deploy the server to EC2
On the screenshot - that's how I have to dig into a template to get the key ๐

#indiehackers What tech stack do you use?๐ ๏ธ
The tech stack behind #Feedster is:
๐ช @nestframework for all business-logic
๐๏ธ @notionAPI for both database and UI (๐ต)
โ๏ธ Gonna use @awscloud EC2 for hosting
๐ค @OpenAI API for summarizing and filters
#Feedster updates:
โ๏ธ Variablized the most ids (@NotionAPI is sick!)
๐ Outlined the installation guide, still looks too complicated
โ๏ธ Now I want to put the core out of the localhost to the cloud
Meanwhile, 1๏ธโฃ3๏ธโฃ days before the Gumroad release

#Feedster updates:
The weekly goals:
โ๏ธ Write a guide for setting up Feedster for Gumroad
๐จโ๐ Study Gumroad launch best practices
๐ง Polish some flows which still suck (refreshing tokens in Gmail is hell)
Feel tired of fixing bugs, hope this week is the last one

#Feedster updates:
๐ Hold on with this crazy solution for a while.
โ๏ธ The "MVP" guy inside me says this isn't a good idea to automate something that isn't validated manually
๐ช So at first, I will be setting up a server for each user by myself
#buildinpublic
I just wanted to create an MVP as a Notion template...
Am I affected by over-engineering syndrome? ๐ฅบ
