A PAZ bus was destroyed at the naval base in Novorossiysk. The vehicle was reportedly being used as a concealed fuel distribution point, loaded with canisters containing around 800 liters of fuel.
The incident comes amid fuel shortages caused by drone strikes on Russian oil-refining infrastructure, forcing the military to resort to unconventional fuel transport and storage methods.

On September 2, 2026, a so-called 'plastic container' reportedly carrying fuel exploded in a truck near the fire station in Nikolaevsk-on-Amur. The driver attempted to reach the Amur River but jumped out after about 300 meters. Firefighters extinguished the fire. The 20-year-old driver suffered II–III degree burns to approximately 45–46% of his body and remains in serious condition in intensive care. He is due to be transferred to a regional burn center today. Authorities are investigating, with a possible violation of transportation regulations cited as a preliminary cause.

1/💥🔥 Overnight, there was a major Ukrainian drone attack. Fires were reported at an Ozon/DNS logistics warehouse and, reportedly, on a ship.
DNS warehouse: A large fire was reported at the DNS logistics facility at 180/3 Novocherkasskoye Highway, Aksay. ASTRA geolocated the reported smoke to this site.
OZON logistics center: The adjacent OZON facility at 180B/1 Novocherkasskoye Highway was also hit. OZON confirmed the strike, saying a so-called "small fire" 😆was quickly extinguished and operations were suspended. The two facilities are located directly next to each other.
