This is an absolute mess, and Kyler throwing a pick on his first possession and then getting injured were HIGH on my Bingo card. Most obvious things ever.

• JJ's throws look mostly accurate. Had one that may have been a throwaway, or may have just been high.
• His receivers are hot ass
• His OL better not be starting games this year

And here I'd spent years thinking Zimmer was awful, but I'd rather have Zimmer back than see another season of KOC. And Zimmer WAS awful, after the break with Spielman.

By announcing this decision now, after JJ outperformed Kyler in the last three practices in a row, KOC is telling JJ, the team, the media, and the fans, that he was lying about there being a real competition. He just wasted everyone's time in training camp.
@JonJameMcCarthy He was dominating Kyler in camp, so this is KOC telling the world that the competition was fake and he never intended to give JJ the starting position.
