Embracing Stoic Reason in Daily Life #FridaySelf I used to be a rollercoaster of emotions - anger, jealousy, anxiety, you name it. These feelings, while normal, clouded my judgment and made life difficult. Then, I discovered Stoicism which resonated with me - even bad things happen for a reason. It wasn't easy, but by prioritizing reason over emotion, I found peace. I learned to see challenges as opportunities, setbacks as temporary detours, and successes as well-deserved rewards. The journey towards Stoic wisdom is ongoing. However, by continuously learning, embracing emotional control, introspective reflection, and seeking meaning in all experiences, I have high hopes to become a better version of myself. “You have power over your mind - not outside events.
