In pursuit of strengthening partnerships & exchanging technical & administrative expertise, the #Saudi_Council_of_Engineers, represented by the Acting Secretary General, Eng. Faisal Abdullah Al-Yemeni, signed a MoU of with #GCC_Lab on the sidelines of the CityScape conference in Riyadh.
The MoU comes as part of the joint efforts of both parties to enhance training and professional qualification, develop the capabilities of Saudi engineering talent, and support continuous professional development in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

The Safety & Fire Laboratory of #GCC_Lab has obtained the license of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), marking a significant achievement that reflects the highest levels of compliance with national and international quality standards.
The laboratory is the largest and most advanced safety and fire testing center in the region, covering an area of 7,200 m² in the 3rd Industrial City in Dammam. It offers an integrated suite of services, including:
• Passive fire protection testing
• Building cladding testing
• Inspection of safety and fire protection systems for facilities and structures
The laboratory has also been accredited by the Saudi Accreditation Center (SAAC) and UL, further strengthening its capability to provide reliable services that meet leading international standards.
This license represents a key milestone in the company’s journey toward becoming a regional leader in testing, inspection, and certification.

#GCC_Lab has signed MoU with @RINA company which is considered one of the global leading companies in the field of inspection and laboratory testing services. This MoU came as a part of GCC Lab’s strategy in building a global partnerships to localize expertise, develop talents and transfer technical knowledge. This collaboration will foster the development of specialized testing methodologies tailored to regional requirements.
#GCC_Lab is honored to receive an expanded delegation from Saudi Railways (SAR) @SARSaudiRailway.
The members of the delegation reviewed with their counterparts in GCC Lab during the meetings & the field visit aspects of cooperation to benefit from the technical, consulting and training services, test services and asset management provided by the laboratory with international specifications and taking into account the Gulf requirements in order to serve the provision of its services in various regions of the Kingdom.
The Gulf Energy Innovation Center #GCC_Lab held an introductory workshop on “Techniques and Programs for Rationalization and Reducing Carbon Emissions in Electrical Power Generation Operations” for elite employees of the Saudi Electricity Company @SEC_KSA in the generation activity. The most important rationalization techniques and programs were presented, including:
-Energy management and performance monitoring programs according to the international standard ISO 50001.
-Evaluating and comparing carbon emissions treatment technologies and their applications to contribute to achieving zero carbon neutrality.
-Evaluating the performance of gas and steam boilers and turbines and methods for improving their performance
-Evaluating and improving performance in steam, gas and combined generation cycles.
The workshop was presented by E. Ahmed Asiri; General Director of the Energy Innovation Center.
The workshop is part of the enrichment programs to qualify specialists in energy conservation and zero neutrality under the supervision of the Ministry of Energy in order to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

Their expertise lies in providing innovative solutions for separation and filtration for catalyst,chemicals, and activated carbon for Oil/gas and petrochemical .
A delegates from #PIRELLI company (the famous tires manufacturer) have visited the Tires Testing Lab , One of #GCC_Lab’s testing facilities in Jeddah which is the largest & most sophisticated tires testing facility in Middle East.
The areas of collaborations and potential partnerships in the field of tires testing and calibration services has been discussed during the visit as a strategic goals of the GCC Lab to provide the required testing and technical capabilities to serve the local manufacturing sector in line with the vision 2030.
