My website is live. 😌 At the beginning of 2026, I had three big goals. First, get my book Awkward in a Thin Blue Line ready for the world. Second, start the Trooper Ben #HelpMore Foundation. Third, get a website up and running. Moments ago, I checked off number three. ✅ It’s simple. It’s new. It’s still growing. Today I’m at Kansas State University for 4-H Discovery Days. I was asked to help close out their conference and talk with students from across Kansas about leadership, helping others, and what it means to #HelpMore. Pretty dang cool to stand in a room full of young people who are still figuring out their path, but already willing to grow. Honored to be here. 😌 #HelpMore 💙

Locked in at the kitchen table today with coffee beside me, licorice within reach, and a stack of #HelpMore stickers getting ready to be mailed out. 😄 I’m also reviewing the proof copies of TROOPER BEN’s Social Media Pocket Guide, and I have to admit, holding the paperback and hardback versions in my hands feels pretty crazy. This started as an idea, then turned into an eBook, and now I’m getting closer to having physical copies available too. The eBook is already available on Amazon, and I want to say thank you to the many people who have already purchased it. I truly hope it helps you think a little differently about how you post, how you connect, and how you keep growing your page. After looking over the proof copies, I realized the paperback and hardback are a little bigger than I wanted. So before those become available for purchase, I’m going back into Amazon to make a few adjustments. My goal is to move the book down to a smaller 5” x 8” size. That feels more like a true pocket guide. Simple to hold. Easy to read. Useful without being overwhelming. That was the goal from the beginning. The book certainly has a law enforcement focus, but I honestly believe it can help anyone who runs a social media page. Whether you are part of an agency, a small business, a school, a nonprofit, a church, a community group, or you are simply trying to grow your own page, I promise you this book will help you think about how you use your platform. Social media does not have to be complicated. It works best when real people are willing to be real, consistent, and purposeful. I thought I ordered enough stickers. I was wrong. 🙂 The first batch of #HelpMore stickers went faster than I expected, and I had to get more made. I now have another 150 stickers in hand. About 10 of those are already set aside for orders from the first batch that still need to be mailed. That means I have about 140 stickers ready to go for anyone who still wants one. 🙌🏼 They are $6 each, and the money raised is going toward starting the #HelpMore Foundation, which I hope to have up and running before the end of this year. 🙏 You can order directly from ME by sending me a message with your mailing address and how many stickers you would like. Over the next several years, I have some goals in front of me. Before 2026 ends, my hope is to release my book. -Awkward in a Thin Blue Line -A website is also part of the plan. -So is establishing a #HelpMore Foundation. After that, I want to continue speaking at gatherings across Kansas and beyond. My goal is to encourage people to live a more attentive life. A life of service. A life where we notice others, help others, and understand the difference one person can make. Five or so years from now, I may even consider running for elected office. Maybe. That decision would have to come from the right place, at the right time, for the right reasons. The public will help guide that part. Through my time in the Army, and later through many years in law enforcement, I learned that public service can be deeply rewarding when it comes from a loving heart. No one knows exactly where the road ahead will lead. For me, the goal is simple. Keep helping. Keep growing. Keep building something that reaches people. Keep doing it with a servant heart. #HelpMore

My youngest son is now drinking coffee like he has a full mortgage and three meetings before noon. 😄 He’s wearing one of my #HelpMore shirts. He just won his second state wrestling championship. And in the coming days, he will take the stage in a big role in the school theater production. That is one heck of a senior year. Strong on the mat. Comfortable on the stage. Coffee in hand. And growing into a young man who makes his dad very proud. I love this kid. Be safe, Trooper Ben #HelpMore
