In our computing lessons, we have been handling data. We created a class pictogram together on the board of how we travel to school, we made a pictogram as a class of our favourite fruit, then made pictograms in pairs of class favourite pets on the iPads . #HighHamComputing
In computing we have been looking at handling data. Last week we collected data and then presented it on a pictogram. It was lovely to see the teamwork between Y1 and reception. Y1 were being thoughtful and helpful.

We have been working on algorithms and coding. We practised giving partners an algorithm to draw a shape with chalk, to see if we could follow algorithms correctly. We wrote algorithms to move an object to a different position and we have programmed bee bots. ➡️#HighHamComputing
This week, we had a go at using the rugged robots. We used the number lines to challenge ourselves by trying to get to a certain number! #HighHamComputing
We loved exploring with the Bee-Bots this afternoon. We discussed what we thought each button did whilst we explored. Then we had a go at getting our bot to move in a square! #HighHamComputing
This term in Computing, we are learning about handling data. We have used data loggers today to help accurately record the temperature and noise level in different points across the school. We will revisit this next week to see any differences. #HighHamComputing
