At a side event entitled “From Adoption to Entry into Force: Advancing Ratification and Effective Implementation of the WIPO #GRATK Treaty,” hosted by the Permanent Mission of #Iran in cooperation with the #SouthCentre on the margins of #WIPO #IGC53, experts discussed various aspects of the Treaty from a Global South perspective. Iran underscored the Treaty as a landmark achievement of #Multilateralism and a significant step towards a more transparent, balanced and inclusive international #IntellectualProperty system. The focus now must be on translating the #Geneva compromise into meaningful national action, broad ratification and effective implementation, ensuring that this historic achievement delivers tangible results for all.
