🧡This Tuesday, the #BPI community came together to honour #OrangeShirtDay — remembering residential school survivors, the children who never made it home, and their families and communities. Wearing orange, we joined the #UBC #IntergenerationalMarch for a day of listening, learning, reflection, and connection — and to reaffirm the importance of #TruthAndReconciliation. 🎥 In this short video, Alexandre Babin, Ahmed Abdalla, Chris Kazun, Xiaohan Jia, Ariane Fernandes, and Siyun Wang share what Orange Shirt Day means to them and why it matters. Thank you to everyone who walked with us and contributed to the day. 🧡 Our thanks to Dana-Lyn Mackenzie, Rob Kozak, David Kitts, @UBCForestry and @ubcLFS for bringing the community together for another meaningful gathering. #OrangeShirtDay2026 #EveryChildMatters #Community #LearningTogether @ubcappscience @CHBEUBC @ubcscience @ubcengineering @UBC @ubcchem
