@ericshelerphoto @JunksRadio @Commanders Honestly, I think it is because the Commanders brand itself is barren.
We will always remember who we were, but we need to take command of who we are.
So why not give the brand a visual identity?
Add a dog tag and a K9, and it’s complete!

@CommandersRealm Well what we see in the current branding is little to nothing.
So add a dog tag as our "circle" and the German Shepherd K9, and they got something we can see.

Great to see @whoisjwright here at the @Commanders Draft Party! The man respects the passion of us fans!

A portfolio of my brand expansion idea. More of a FUN visual identity than what WSH currently has.
Unlike the uniform portfolio from other teams, I won't over explain:
Commanders>military>K9 units>German Shepherd>Commander-in-Chief's dog

The K9 is not the only visual that can be used with Commanders, it can be a military dog tag; it works for both. So if someone prefers not to have a dog for a Commanders alt logo, they can use the dog tag.

More refined image of my idea of implementing a military dog tag into the Commanders brand so that they can use the shaped as a the "circle" for a "1970 Commanders" alt helmet:

I hope you guys go to National Harbor this Saturday for the Draft Party! Because I will be there with (old and new) stickers, magnets, pins, and now, key rings!!

With all the alternate helmets being shown, I tried a new approach with my #ExpandtheBrand.
I used just the military dog tag to replicate the 1970 Redskins helmet. This can be the bridge between the past and future identities that Commanders needs.

@ProFootbllDemon @DPandemic_Clay @ShaneIsTheWorst @TradesIn5 @CharlesChillFFB If we are stuck with Commanders, then let’s give it the visual identity it is missing. We can use the German Shepherd K9. Top breed used in the services AND the Prez’s dog.

So I finally decided to revise my #K9Command logo in the style of the @CommandersCrew logo.
After making this edgy logo, I can see why people hate mine.
@john_keim Yeah. I would swap out as much black for gold. Gold needs to be added more to the current brand.
Fans will always demand to go back to the past. But we are Commanders. And we need to make it our own.

@redzoneinthelab First and foremost, get the right people on and off the field with the same shared vision of winning; people who can adapt in-season and listen to players on what does and doesn't work.
In the background, commit to the Commanders brand and end the rebrand debate. #K9Command
Yes. I was all in on (Red)wolves during the first rebrand. But in hindsight, Commanders has more connected to DC than (Red)wolves ever will; and local connection means a lot to a name. So if we can't get the red canine, why not add a "Commanders" canine to the brand?

@MarkMoseley3 Yes, Mark! That is why I promote the idea of #ExpandtheBrand. Add a K9 identity to pair with our legacy identity.
Gives our name the visual identity it is missing and fits with theme (K9 units) and DC (Prez's dog).

Take Command of who we are"
