#KAMS KARNATAKA – A Voice of Betrayal Against Kannada and Education Equity
The Karnataka Associated Managements of English Medium Schools (KAMS) seems to be operating with a mindset that fundamentally undermines the linguistic and educational integrity of Karnataka. While the Union Government continues to fail in uplifting the educational quality of the BIMARU states, it is now relentlessly working to erode the learning standards of non-Hindi-speaking states—particularly the southern states—in order to drag them down to a manufactured equality defined by mediocrity.
KAMS displays a blatant unwillingness to understand the rationale behind a multi-language education policy. Forcing children to study in languages that have no contextual or cultural relevance to them not only suppresses their natural learning but also risks producing a generation alienated from their roots.
If Karnataka fails to resist this systemic linguistic aggression, the ongoing language war will soon be buried under the iron hand of the Union Government. And organizations like KAMS, who maintain quiet ties with various political factions, will ensure that their anti-Karnataka agenda dominates the discourse.
What is even more frightening for Kannada warriors is the fact that KAMS has strong ties with all political parties—including, but not limited to, the Congress. We had placed considerable hope and trust in the Congress government to protect Kannada interests, but sadly, it is failing us at a crucial time. The silence and inaction of the state leadership speak louder than any slogan or manifesto.
We must remember that without Karnataka, India would not have witnessed some of the greatest literary minds—from ancient scholars to modern-day laureates like Madam Bhanu Mustak. Had someone forced them to write in a language alien to their heart and home, their brilliance may have never reached us.
This is no longer just an educational concern—it is a fight for our cultural and constitutional rights. The time has come to challenge KAMS through legal means. Their actions, if not resisted, will go down in history as acts of betrayal against the children of Karnataka and the legacy of Kannada itself.
KAMS is not just misguided—it is behaving like a cultural saboteur. Karnataka must unite, legally and morally, to stop this onslaught in its tracks. KAMS is a #Terrorist Organisation.
