Back at Manor Mission Church in #Laindon, this time to meet the 2nd Laindon Guides. I’m so impressed with how well used the church is by the community!
The Guides have so much fun & it really helps build friendships outside of school, alongside all plethora of new skills too!
Recently I was delighted to celebrate the new office opening of @BluebirdEssex in #Laindon, alongside their inclusive dementia community award given to them by @alzheimerssocfor the way they support the community and people with dementia.

At the train station in #Laindon to see the new mural of ‘Run Rabbit Run’ taken by Meng that’s been sponsored by @c2c_Rail and @essexwildlife.
A big well done to c2c, Essex Wildlife Trust, Meng, and artist Gnasher for making this happen.

Swung by the new @lidlgb in #Laindon to see for myself how nice the new store is and how well it’s serving local people.
I’m a huge fan of the bakery inside Lidl and I’m not alone. I couldn’t believe how many pastries fly off their shelves each day!

I recently popped by Arne Court in #Laindon run by Peabody to see the service they offer to families experiencing homelessness in #BasildonAndBillericay.
I saw the activities they put on throughout the year – including a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny!
I had a really lovely time joining the 7th #Laindon Brownies of @GirlguidingESE in their activities at their regular evening in Manor Mission.

I joined Manor Mission in #Laindon for a service & to chat about the car parking concerns following Lidl’s relocation to the Laindon Centre
Such lovely service & great to see all ages & community groups there too, from local care home residents to Rainbows, Brownies & Guides
I popped down to Merrylands Primary School in #Laindon to speak at an assembly as part of their Careers and Aspirations Week
I told them that I’d had loads of different ideas about what I’d like to do when I was in Primary School but that the key was to not close off opportunities by staying interested in lots of different things
My very best wishes to all the pupils as they start to think about their future careers and where they’d like to go in life
