@1985Deanne Yeh, my understanding of the DSBill is that its a flimsy cover for some other agendas pushed by politicians, without the ppl involved necessarily realising that and/or sharing those agendas, and they aint much to do with disabled people. Maybe we should try resurrecting #LBBill
@GeorgeJulian Reading and seeing this about the #LBBill made me 🙂💜 but also made me angry given all the fuss around the #downsyndromebill this was much better written, by people I admire and respect and would have done so much good 😭 been so much more for people with disabilities.

If we had #LBBill the commissioners would need authorisation before purchasing a bed for someone at Whorton Hall. Nobody would sanction that a bed in that place is in Alex's best interests and the least restrictive option for her care.
