Public reaction to black-box approaches needs to be monitored. Awareness of and opinions toward selection system decision making, especially tech heavy ones, are increasingly important but also rapidly changing.

We will continue shifting away from multiple choice toward constructed responses. They are costly and time consuming to score, but this is precisely what’s being addressed with modern assessment methods.

Determinants of job performance (knowledge, skills, motivation) will not change. Therefore, we will continue to measure work samples, knowledge measures, ability, investment, personality, etc. to predict performance.
