Libstar's financial performance improved in the second half of 2023, but challenges remain.
Here's a breakdown:
🔵Revenue: Increased 5.2% overall, driven by selling price inflation and mix changes. Sales volume declined slightly.
🔵Profit Margins: Recovered in H2 due to improved capacity utilization, production efficiencies, pricing, and cost management.
🔵Operating Expenses: Margin excluding impairments improved as cost-saving initiatives took effect.
🔵Earnings: Increased due to higher insurance proceeds and lower impairment charges, despite higher borrowing costs.
🔵Cash Flow: Cash generated from operating activities increased slightly.
