2-0-1 in a Strixhaven "Double Diploma" #MagicMates draft (6 packs each, packs are burned after 7 picks).
Built a classic UG deck with 11 lessons and 10 learn spells. Drew the finals to the only BW drafter in the pod with a pretty busted 8-rare deck.
Finally got the chance to watch the @Draft_Punks_Mtg recap of our #DSK #MagicMates cup. Interesting to hear Sam's thoughts on our finals match.
Sitting to Sam's left I took Hovership P1P1 into Trapped, Twins, Storyteller, Lair, Strength, Vengeance.

π4-0 at last night's #MagicMates Peasant Cube draft. Thought my UWb Drake/Flicker deck was pretty medium but it proved remarkably resilient. Managed to combo off in every round in a very convoluted way that involved using Ghostly Flicker, Makeshift Mannequin and Scholar.
Drafted a crazy Marina brew to finish off our #MagicMates #DSK season. Went 1-2 losing to good guy @Charlie_Boyd_ in a lengthy R3 where G1 I cast Marina on t5 and hit 4 spells.
Including the pic where I somehow drew only blue spells and lands (I kept and won) π€£
2-1 at tonight's #MagicMates #DSK draft with a sweet 4c brew playing all the best cards I could find.
The black splash seemed a little greedy but the mana never let me down.
Other pic is of my turn 4 board state one game.
Lost to Gremlin Tamer+ counterspells.
π Won this year's #MagicMates Cup with a pretty lacklustre GWu #DSK deck. Draft was tough!
Definitely got very lucky in my matches.
My finals games made it on camera; including sideboarding in two Possessed Goats to get around Unable to Scream. https://t.co/vdbQgp37Mr

2-1 with a pretty good RGb bombs deck at tonights #MagicMates draft. Main deck to the left and sideboard options on the right.
Would be happy with this for Sunday's #MagicMatesCup for sure!
1-2 at our first #MagicMates #DSK draft with somewhat of an unfortunate WG deck splashing Bookworm.
I was definitely meant to be white but the draft was really tough, seated between a UG and a UR drafter basically cutting off my other options.
And @Calm_Mirror stole my payoffs.
0-3 at tonight's #MagicMates #BLB draft with a decent if unexciting RW deck.
Had some bad luck with mana but it was consistent enough to make me suspect the deck was also worse than I thought!
I played 8 of each basics and the Fabled Passage FWIW.
1-0-2 at tonight's #MagicMates #OTJ draft with a 4x Raven WB crimes deck splashing Intimidation Campaign.
Deck was tricky to play which certainly ate into my time. Had some cute synergies but nothing super special. The wrath was pretty great given my creatures were so small!
π3-0 at our first #MagicMates #MH3 deck with a pretty medium RW deck. Got to play 27 spells 22 lands thanks to 5 MDFcs.
Won g3 of the finals after keeping a 0 (basic) land hand. Cheesed one win with a Skoa + grandeur play and another with Scurry of Gremlins.
1-1-1 at tonight's #MagicMates draft with one of the better paper decks I've piloted; GBu Bonny Pall.
Slight misplay in R1 meant I died to exact damage. And then I was 1 land off winning a 7 turn g3 in r3 and it was the next card deep. That's Magic for you!
π 3-0 at tonight's #OTJ #MagicMates draft with RW rares (9 in total).
Speculated on a Cruel Ultimatum but the mana fixing wasn't there...so ended up a few payables short.
Ended up cutting a land for another card because I didn't have much flood protection.
2-1 with URb combo at our #MagicMates cube team draft. Complex to play and made a few mistakes but very fun. Had a tough pick between Brain Freeze and Wheel of Fortune (had Hullbreacher and Lotus but not Breach at that point).
π 3-0 at tonight's #MagicMates #MKM draft with 5c Niv-Mizzet (base GW for Summala Sentry and Buried in the Garden).
Started the draft with 5 gold cards then would you believe @Calm_Mirror passed me the dragon P2P1? And some Nervous Gardeners to go with it! π
1-1-1 with at tonight's #MagicMates MKM draft with WBg go wide splashing Izoni. Had horrible draws for most of the night and only landed a 1 drop on turn 1 in a single game. Then my round 3 opponent mulliganed to oblivion so didn't playbmuch actual magic with the deck!
Our annual #MagicMates Cup is just 2 days away! This year I'm joining @Calm_Mirror @nino_mtg @DarcanisMtg and other top drafters from the previous year for a high-stakes #MKM draft.
Draft and games will be live streamed with commentary from 6:30pm AEDT https://t.co/EIIVDBO7rY
2-1 at our final #LCI #MagicMates draft. @Calm_Mirror wasn't there so I got a chance to try out the Caves deck π€£
