Buried in UI for days just so the interface doesn’t feel like an alien dialect.
Quick look at the new upgrade system.
The MalwareBurster demo is live and constantly evolving. Follow along if you’re curious about the grind.

If you’re a fellow dev, I’d love to hear your story:
What made you want to start making games?

It definitely took way more time than expected, but the MALWARE BURSTER demo is finally live.
Only about 50% finished, but it’s time to break the lonely solo dev loop.
Good luck surviving that 30% clear rate. Link below!

Stats show the clear rate is under 30%, so I was thinking about making game easier.
But then a playtester sends me this...
Anyway, demo gonna dropping today—just let me squash a few more bugs first.🤡

Hi,it's DevilCola
Based on a friend’s feedback, I merged the chip and level display in the skill UI. Turns out great.
Planning to drop the demo tomorrow. Otherwise, I might keep tweaking forever.
It's never good enough, but I'll give it my best shot.

Been a while.
Still grinding away, trying to make the game feel "right."
Demo will be on Itch very soon. Feel free to follow along if you’re interested; I’ll post as soon as it’s live.
Anyway, here’s a clip of the enemy death effect I just added.

Portal animation done (?
It's always fun testing different ideas, still, I think chasing perfection can be a dangerous trap.
I might make a better version when I’m pushing for the final finish line, but for now, it's time to move forward.

Most of my playtesters found out they could just circle-strafe to beat my game.
So i creat this Aim-Bot enemy.
It’s specifically designed to ruin your circling strategy.
Art still wip, i turn it green bcs it remind me Necron Deathmarks.

Yep, another dev log compressed into 60 seconds of high-speed madness.
Since not many people will see this:
I had the weirdest dream about a vacation with Faker... and we shared a bed. Never expect a wet dream like this
Am I gay?

Fresh #MalwareBurster footage!
Balancing is the real boss. I'm trying to find the sweet spot between frustration and boredom.
Algorithm might hide this, so if you’re seeing this, you’re the chosen one. Much love!

Fella devs, if you're tired of the copy-paste hell for localization, this might help.
Tried to make a full-auto localization font update but ended up with a "half-auto" due to some hurdles.
Details in the replies! 👇

Spent the whole afternoon tweaking the menu & adding an intro. It took way longer than expected, why am I like this? 🤡
If you have any ideas or feedback for the menu, please let me know! I'd love to try them out.

Meet the Shopkeeper.
He gives out free gifts because he believes 'being nice' is the key to your heart. (Or maybe your Luck stat is doing something) 🍀
Would you buy an item from him?
