We were delighted as always to help a dog in need today at @MillcroftVets by sending #MizenJay to donate some blood ❤️ Greyhound are great blood donors as they are ‘universal’ which means that they can donate to pretty much all other breeds, as well as their relaxed nature

As always, we are at it 24/7 and we were happy to answer the call to @MillcroftVets this evening to assist with a blood donation. #MizenJay was collected in the ambulance and is off to help out ❤️❤️ He is available for adoption via Cumbria @greyhoundtrust and is a beautiful boy!

Added to the @greyhoundtrust website #MizenJay 12 wins from 89 races at @NewcastleDogs A gentle giant at 37 kilograms, Jay is a big boy but has the most beautiful nature going. He's a lovely white dog with blue markings on his face, and stands nice and tall

Just the one winner for us yesterday as #MizenJay (T6) made it 2 from his last 2 in A7 company. He and kennelmate #DungannonTommy (T2) went head to head down the back straight and despite moving wide off the last bend Jay had enough to hold Tommy off 💪🏻💪🏻

It’s a great start for us and our first winner under the new lights as #MizenJay (T5) wins his second on the trot, trapping out well and rising the trouble at the first bend before showing his finishing power once again 👏🏻👏🏻
