Do you also remember the #Savemurchisonfalls campaign where a few stakeholders were justifying the construction of a dam at Uhuru falls(created after murchison flooded in 1962) , @nemaug came in and saved the enviroment, the falls were gone for good. #Conserveug #Nemact

During the conference in Masindi yesterday, @nemaug ED mr @ABarirega said that Uganda's forest cover had reduced to only 9% and they were now positively progressing with restocking our forests to have at least 15% forest cover back by 2030.

Thanks to the cautions of the National Environment Act of, 1995 that’s now includes 2019 #NEMAct amendments to sustainable development but also safeguard nature. Murchison Falls National has been able to have hundreds of elephants like this one I have called Rihanna. #ConserveUG

The @GovUganda has constructed a bridge at Paara to replace the ferry service connecting Buliisa to Packwach. The bridge has eased movement within the park &enhanced tourism. It is also built in accordance with #NEMAct that encourages coexistence of tourism & development.🇺🇬🇺🇬
