Today’s @Europarl_EN plenary debate on @s_yoncourtin’s report 👉 the implementation of the Maritime Spatial Planning Directive, comes at a pivotal moment as we shape the future #OceanAct.
The Ocean Act will deliver a more coherent, adaptive, and inclusive approach to maritime planning, one that ensures sufficient space for fisheries and aquaculture, while addressing pressing challenges like climate adaptation, biodiversity protection and the expansion of offshore renewables.
