Has there been anything more nauseating than seeing Labour MPs seek to claim the moral high ground with their synthetic anger about Reform receiving two £36m donations from crypto billionaires - leading the government to even let it be known they may outrageously change the law retrospectively to force Reform to hand back the money.   This is despite the fact that since 2009 Unite the Union have given Labour £52m; Unison have handed over a cool £27m; the GMB £26m and Usdaw over £23m. And in return unions have huge influence over Labour policy and even Labour leadership elections.   Of course they think those multi-million pound donations are absolutely fine, just so long as it’s going to them. Labour must not be allowed to abuse their power in this way.

Meanwhile, water companies continue to lose nearly two billion litres of treated drinking water every day through leaking pipes. It's time to stop asking the public to pay the price for a broken water system - and start fixing it.
