As we move from #NoMowMay to #PathsOnlyJune our cats and local fox seem to like flattened and shorter areas of the uncut 'lawn' to nap. The animal-free photo is a flattened grass cat/fox 'bed'. #LawnFlowers #Caturday

@wildflower_hour @CarolineIrwin3 @BSBIbotany @Love_plants @WildFlowerSoc @WildlifeTrusts Please also promote #PathsOnlyJune asking people to leave their new mini-meadows mainly for the mini-beasts and enjoy all the dynamic life in their back gardens with a only new path mowed through the beauty.

@Love_plants Please continue on with this rewilding effort by calling for a #PathsOnlyJune so that in June people simply mow a lovely little path through their new little mini meadows? Then we can not only keep helping the bees but also encourage toads, ground nesting birds and fireflies!

Can we have #PathsOnlyJune please? Just mow a lovely little path in your unmown May yard. That way we can not only keep helping the bees, but also encourage toads, ground nesting birds and even fireflies to make a comeback!

@Love_plants Please also promote a #PathsOnlyJune to help ground nesting birds and insect (such as fireflies) biodiversity. Mowing winding paths through your new little mini-meadow is a great way to enjoy your yard and help Mother Earth.
