In den >20 Jahren als Entwickler hatte ich nur zwei weibliche Kollegen, die wirklich am Code gearbeitet haben. Das zu politisieren ist völliger Quatsch. Niemand hindert Frauen daran PHP zu lernen und damit ihr Geld zu verdienen. Nur ist PHP eben eine komplexe Sprache. #PhpCE

Just so you know, #phpce organisers admitted they cancelled the conference because of financial issues, not lack of diversity. Image shows a Facebook comment which says, in Polish: "Why do you cancel the conference? Darek mentioned it in another thread already. Financial issues."

I don't know which is worse for me: the canceled @phpce_eu or to give a poor quality talk… I speak for no one but myself in saying: I don’t want to give a talk only because I’m a woman and maybe the only woman submitted a talk. When my talk has been accepted ... #phpce #php

Dear #php community, if you don't know how hard it is to organize a conference, please shut up. Take your time to motivate, coach and teach less privileged how to speak and submit CFPs. We know how hard it is to get non white male speakers. So instead of complaining 1/ #phpce

I can’t believe what happened here. This is exactly why we all have to think in proactive ways when it comes to #Diversity in tech! Let’s stop ignoring the issues, they’re real! I can’t believe people decided to destroy a legacy instead of embracing a learning process!#phpce
